| Hi Everyone,
My name is Jess Simelane. I am from Johannesburg South Africa and I am the 2023 NET for P4, 5, and 6. I was a language teacher for Kindergarten and P1 back in South Africa and enjoyed the experience thoroughly. Teaching a child a language, is teaching them how to communicate with the world around them and helps expand their world view. I am passionate about music and performance and strive to include them in my lessons to encourage engagement and make learning fun and diverse. My goal is to produce students who are comfortable using their voice at whatever language level they’re at. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, singing, hiking and learning new languages.
